Heart of Volusia President Andrea White, Ph.D. medical geneticist and retired biology instructor for the International Baccalaureate program of Spruce Creek High School, describes the local nonprofit organization. She originally joined the HOV board of directors because of the group’s history of supporting high school science research through University of Florida’s SSTP program.
