Andrea White

Ph.D. Medical Geneticist. Retired High School biology instructor in IB Program of Spruce Creek High School. Joined HOV Board because of its history of supporting high school science research through UF’s SSTP program.

Catherine Klasne

First Vice President

Worked as local newspaper writer/editor for 25-plus years. Now marketing director for Upchurch Watson White & Max, a professional association of attorney-mediators.

Fidelia "Fe" Roster

Second Vice President

VP and Chief CRE Continuum Officer — Halifax Health. Assists with all aspects of patient care, including clinical processes and working with multidisciplinary team to meet patient’s individual needs.

Norma Avchin

Secretary

Vice President-Investments with Stifel for 11 years. Career of over 40 years in the financial services industry. Board member committed to HOV’s mission.

Kirit Patel

Treasurer

Former HOV Board President and active on the Heart of Volusia Board since 1975. Until recently, served many years as a fiscal affairs officer with Bethune-Cookman University.

Glenn Vincent

Longtime board member and past president of HOV. President of N.T. Vincent Insurance in Daytona Beach, a local independent insurance agency. Active in the local arts community.

Ari Morse

A member of the board for over 19 years, Ari is President of Morse Genealogical Services, LLC, and Vice-President of Locaters International Inc., a private investigative agency in South Daytona.

Thea Smith

A member of the HOV board for over 9 years. Retired as Administrator and Collaborative Technician at the Federal Aviation Administration’s Palm Coast Center.

Angeline Bushy, PhD, RN, FAAN

Professor holds the Bert Fish Endowed Chair in Nursing at the University of Central Florida, College of Nursing. Served on the HOV board for 20 years.

Judy Liberi

After 26 years as writer/assistant editor for Daytona Beach News-Journal, joined HOV as an administrator in 2007.

Dr. Irving W. Robinson

Retired Obs/Gyn joined board in 2022. On faculty of Bethune-Cookman University College of Science and Math as assistant professor and on Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center of Florida /Community Advisory Board.

Tommy Bryant

A member of the board since 2022, Tommy has been a Physical Education teacher since 2005. He has taught elementary school and middle school, and is currently teaching at Spruce Creek Elementary. In 2015 he was named Volusia County Elementary Physical Educator of the year.
